Our Love Story

The First Meeting
It was 2013 at UNN, in the Economics Department. I was deep in student politics, campaigning, when I spotted her. I approached her and her friend Ugee (now her Chief Bridesmaid) intending to talk politics, but the moment I saw Chidera, the campaign speech flew out the window. Her charm was instant and undeniable. I knew then that this wasn't just another potential voter; I had just met someone special.
Growing Together
Though we were in the same department and studied similar courses in different years, we stayed friendly over the years. Then in March 2022, our story truly began when I asked her to be my girlfriend.
The Proposal
Nonso took me to Albania for my birthday, and I thought that was the surprise. I had no idea he had more planned.
The day before, he sent me out of the room on the most suspicious errands, turns out he was having them redecorate everything. When I walked back in, the room was transformed, the view was unreal, and he was proposing with the most beautiful ring.
